Description
The Bioanalyse disc dispenser (ref. 35733) is used with disc cartridges fitted with triggers, allowing 6 or 8 discs to be evenly distributed in a circular pattern onto the culture medium. Single-handed operation saves considerable time compared to manual disc-by-disc placement, while ensuring uniform spacing in line with the disc diffusion method requirements. Disc tubes are inserted into the dispenser slots until they click into place; the loaded dispenser is then placed on the Petri dish, and each disc is pressed onto the agar by gently pushing the plunger. An essential tool for laboratories running a high volume of antibiograms.
